You can join to receive the seeds throughout the year when new crops, with an advantage because the fresh seeds germinate faster than the stored seeds of trees and lianas that would bring up to 2 years to germinate.

Why seeds? .. .because direct sowing in open ground, without transplantation, give a tree healthier and more resistant to drought, as explained here: http://fruitforestier.info/forets-nourricieres-semis-directs-actions/;

The varieties of the following list are good to excellent without selection of outstanding genotypes ('note' appreciation of 3 to 5/5 in the tables of each sheet), and were not crossed as in the case of proximity of cousins. Their seedlings therefore does not cause a loss of qualities, at most a slight diversification healthy and natural. It also let the nature its role as an artist, improvisation or evolution.

On the contrary, some cultivars are exceptions got on hundreds or thousands of seedlings. When they are sown again, they give a very different result (figs, apples, pears,…) to different (peaches, cherries, plums, apricots,…) or like (CCAA whose wild form is good also,…). A minority of cultivars, the indeterminate origins, faithfully reproduce by seed.

To obtain an identical cultivar, either grafted it (Apple, pear, peach, cherry, Plum, apricot,…) take it or Layer (fig, ugni, vine,…), layer or find a rejection (amelanchier, Hardy Kiwi,…)

Why fruit? Some may be eaten in significant quantities without toxicity while leaves and seeds contain limiting factors, a defense against a destructive consumption. the harvesting and consumption of fruit is simple, gives energy, does not harm the plant, it is his gift who will carry his seed to ensure its reproduction. Our anatomy is frugivore. Only 2 exceptions in this collection, because they are perennial in the shadow of a forest of fruit! 1 salad, and 1 "vegetable" in the form of tiny potatoes (2cm) that gather like fruit. In the articles, I indicate sometimes how to consume certain other leaves, seeds or roots of fruit plants, famine or should be cut to make room for favouring the nearby plant. I do not provide the more traditional fruit or nuts that you can find easily elsewhere. What there are more healthy is the flesh of the fruit. The seeds are often toxic (example: apples, if, and one majority of others). It is better to soak the nuts a few hours to rinse them, before eating, to remove an anti-nutritif principle: their taste becomes better. A few melon or watermelon seeds can be ingested if we can not all sow.

Why wild (botanical)? because they will continue alone, without graft nor culture, and contain more nutrients.

According to Claude BOURGUIGNON and Eric ESCOFFIER, edible forest (permaculture) regenerates itself and produced 15 calories for 1 appointing calorie, while agriculture consumes 20 calories for each produced calorie. Agriculture would be neither realistic nor efficient nor productive long-term, based on slavery and the depletion of resources and should be abandoned in the next 15 years according to nasa.

In addition to permaculture trainers that convey their experiences and enthusiasm, I wanted here indicate and facilitate access to varieties that may constitute new forests that produce + they consume. For the 1st time from 2015 onwards, I published, describe and disseminates the largest list of "original" fruit which can coexist in primary forests, in the shade as the canopy.

Within a few hours of simple seedlings I invite everyone to anticipate like me the abundance and food sovereignty. What could be more efficient than sow one hectare in 2 H, for thousands of years?

Delicious? Yes, it depends on the variety in each case! each article contains a comparative table sometimes very contrasty, to avoid confusion and try to break a prejudice that a wild fruit is not very good (article: accessible by clicking on the name in the left column of the table below). Most of the time, the variety has shown little tasty cousin!

Why Frost? because with us, it freezes in the winter ("climates").

Why wines? because it is simpler and better for vitamins. Of course, certain fruits would be conveniently cooked to destroy certain toxins, such as "famous" common elderberry in europe. But there is enough choice among the "good vintages", so I proposed them exclusively. In fact, I prefer soft, without acidity, fruit that can be eaten in quantity without fatigue or cooking.

Each variety is studied, others are discarded. An article summarizes all containing links that refer to the 55 articles with references that themselves contain a comparison with links to the cousins of the same species, and various stories until then dispersed or private, I published together, then each can provide feedback (for now as there is not much because the site is so little recent referenced by search engines). Please attach your references, sources.

I think that it is in everyone's interest, and future generations, as these 55 delicious varieties sown as widely as possible.

I'm not big permaculteur and offers no courses: focusing on practical aspects, I went directly in the permaculture literature what varieties choose and where to find them. With my criteria there were ten varieties.  It finally took me thousands of hours and 1 year of research to find info, sources and evidence which I wanted to facilitate access, only a novelty practice: the census, the info, and the distribution of 50 fruit varieties (sub) spontaneous delicious, of which 40 were missing so far in the books and courses of permaculture. No-till, these arb (ustes) do require knowledge, registry, nor size, just watering drought only when they are young.

The price of membership is free, at least it must be roughly equal to the prices indicated in the right column.

The association:

-It distributes these 50 seeds (wholesale and retail), because there was no such collection previously (a first work thousands of hours for all together them and inform them).

Crazy Sowers: for more seeds, take advantage of the prices for wholesalers
